strongly inspired by artists as thomas demand and thomas ruff, my work focusses on the medium of photography rather than the image itself. mainly i'm interested in how the image(plane) relates to the meaning we grant it and how composition takes a part in this process. as a result, my work is primarily characterized by the concepts i'm investigating and only secondary by the registered 'subject'. besides, my images often tend to lack a distinct composition as to keep the eye wandering over the image searching for 'signs of significance'.
